Deaths 2017 - RIP ..
To avoid people getting the huml when new threads are posted for celebrities some have not heard of - why don't we put all in one place?

Let's start with Mary Tyler Moore

Very sad to read on Tony Haygarth's passing...I remember him as the uncouth copper called Wilmott in Rosie in the early 80's - I spent a very liquid hour or two with him on Victoria station one evening...lovely fella RIP

Don't care who moans about this thread, I just know there are a few (just a few) fans on here.

John Lever of The Chameleons died Monday. Don't know cause. Only 55. Brilliant drummer in a brilliant band.

(You can go back to arguing about a foreign president now, cheers.)

I agree this thread is loathsome. Mass production morning? Where we put the deaths and lives that dont matter?
Delete this thread.
Let people die and be mourned, or whatever, individually.

Is this the WHO stiffy equivalent of a secret Santa? When the thread pops up at the top of the page, you know someone's died, but the level of shock/surprise/disappointment of who it actually is still awaits.

It's bollocks. If someone goes to all the trouble of dying, at least they deserve their own thread. Not like the front page is over-run with West Ham related posts as it is, is it?

My mum went on the 7th July a year and a half ago and dad on 18th December 2016.

You're not alone mate. All the best to you and the ones you've got left.

The Aust newspaper website I saw this morning had links from charities that work with depression and suicide prevention following the article on his death.
Only 37 with a wife and 2 kids.
